DULUTH, Ga. – The Gwinnett Gladiators announced that they have signed rookie forward Bryan Dobek and that he is expected to play on Friday at South Carolina.
The Gladiators are the ECHL affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers of the National Hockey League and the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League.
The 5-foot-10 and 195-pound Dobek has one assist in two games with Gwinnett and that assist was on the game-winning goal against Columbia on Nov. 17. He has been playing in the Southern Professional Hockey League where he has 12 points (7g-5a) in eight games with Fayetteville.
Dobek attended training camp with the Gladiators in September and the Thrashers annual prospect development camp in July.
