Gladiators Trade Kaleniecki To Las Vegas

DULUTH, Ga. – The Gwinnett Gladiators announced that they have signed rookie forward Brandon Kaleniecki and traded him to the Las Vegas Wranglers in exchange for financial considerations.

The Gladiators are the ECHL affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers of the National Hockey League and the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League.

The 25 year old had four points (1g-3a) in 12 games for Gwinnett before suffering an elbow injury that required surgery to repair a ruptured ligament. Kaleniecki returned to the ice in March and scored seven points (4g-3a) in four games and added two points (1g-1a) in four games in the Kelly Cup Playoffs for the Gladiators.
