Alaska’s Wes Goldie continues to move up the ECHL’s career goals and games played list. Goldie leads the league with 21 goals this season, giving him 310 in his ECHL career which is seventh all-time. He trails Darren Schwartz by three goals for sixth place and is six goals behind Sheldon Gorski for fifth place. ECHL Hall of Famer Rod Taylor is the all-time leader with 368 goals in 678 games.
Goldie has played in all 32 games for the Aces this season, increasing his career number to 587 which is 10th on the all-time list. He is three behind Chris Valicevic for ninth place and six behind Kurt Seher for eight place. With 13 more games, Goldie will become just the fifth player in league history to reach the 600-game plateau. ECHL Hall of Famer Cam Brown is the all-time leader with 789 games played.
