Grizzlies Acquire Kinasewich From Reading

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah – The Utah Grizzlies announced that they have acquired left wing Ryan Kinasewich from the Reading Royals in exchange for future considerations.

In his rookie season in 2004-05, the 22-year-old had 38 points (16g-22a) in 43 regular season games and six points (1g-5a) in five playoff games for Reading and he was chosen to play in the 2005 ECHL All-Star Game where he scored a goal and an assist. He also played in the American Hockey League with Manchester where he had eight points (2g-6a) in 29 games.

Kinasewich played five years in the Western Hockey League and had 252 points (106g-146a) and 232 penalty minutes in 298 regular season games and 12 points (7g-5a) in 16 playoff games with Medicine Hat and Tri-City.
