Grrrowl, Zultek Agree To Terms

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Greenville Grrrowl announced that they have agreed to terms with veteran left wing Matt Zultek.

The Grrrowl is the ECHL affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks and the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League and the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League.

In 2004-05, the 26-year-old helped Trenton win the Kelly Cup scoring one goals and registering 30 penalty minutes in 13 Kelly Cup Playoff games after having 29 points (12g-17a) and 231 penalty minutes in 60 regular season games while also playing one game in the American Hockey League with Manitoba.

Selected in the first round (15th overall) by the Los Angeles Kings in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft and in the second round (56th overall) by the Boston Bruins in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, the 6-foot-4 and 210-pound Zultek has played four seasons with Trenton where he has 174 points (87g-87a) and 801 penalty minutes in 231 regular season games and seven points (6g-1a) and 44 penalty minutes in 23 Kelly Cup Playoff games.
