Gulls Acquire Shiryaev From Bakersfield
Weiman Reassigned To San Diego From Lowell

STOCKTON, Calif. – The San Diego Gulls announced that they have acquired left wing Dennis Shiryaev from the Bakersfield Condors in exchange for future considerations and that goaltender Tyler Weiman has been reassigned to San Diego from the Lowell Lock Monsters of the American Hockey League.

San Diego is the ECHL affiliate of the Avalanche of the NHL and the Lock Monsters of the AHL.

The 27-year-old Shiryaev has five points (3g-2a) and 105 penalty minutes in 24 games with Bakersfield.

Selected in the fifth round (164th) by Colorado in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft and under contract to the Avalanche, the 21-year-old Weiman is 3-2-0 with goals against of 2.88 and a save percentage of .898 in six games with Lowell and is 9-10-3 with goals against of 3.02 and a save percentage of .903 in 24 games with San Diego.
