Gulls Receive McLeod From Lowell

SAN DIEGO – The San Diego Gulls announced that left wing Cody McLeod has been reassigned to the team by the Lowell Lock Monsters of the American Hockey League.

The Gulls are the ECHL affiliate of Lowell of the AHL and the Colorado Avalanche of the National Hockey League.

The 21-year-old, who spent training camp with both Lowell and Providence of the AHL, is expected to play his first game with the Gulls on Saturday at Fresno.

The 6-foot-2-inch and 210-pound played four seasons in the Western Hockey League with Portland and had 137 points (69g-68a) and 661 penalty minutes in 257 regular season games and nine points (3g-6a) and 27 penalty minutes in 24 playoff games.
