Agree To Terms

SAN DIEGO – The San Diego Gulls announced that they have agreed to terms with rookie goaltender Aaron McKenzie, who becomes the first San Diego native to sign a full-time contract with the team.

The 21-year-old used to practice with the team and was coached in roller hockey by former Gulls defenseman and current assistant coach Jamie Black.

The 5-foot-11 and 180-pound McKenzie has played the last two years with South Surrey in the British Columbia Hockey League where he was 32-22-0 with a goals-against average of 3.45 and a save percentage of .892.
