DULUTH, Ga. – The Gwinnett Gladiators announced that they have signed forward Bruce Graham.
The Gladiators are the ECHL affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers of the National Hockey League and the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League. Chicago is coached by Don Granato, who led Peoria to a 45-20-5 record and the Kelly Cup championship in 1999-2000 after two seasons as head coach and general manager for Columbus.
Drafted in the second round (51st overall) by the New York Rangers in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, the 22-year-old Graham had 33 points (11g-22a) and 62 penalty minutes in 42 regular season games and no points in three Kelly Cup Playoff games. Graham also had six points (1g-5a) and six penalty minutes in 24 regular season games with the Hartford Wolf Pack in the American Hockey League in 2007-08.
