Hamilton Receives Five Players From Cincinnati

HAMILTON, Ontario – The Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League announced that they have recalled defenseman Jon Gleed and goaltender Cedrick Desjardins from the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL.

The Bulldogs also announced that the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League have reassigned forwards Mathieu Aubin, Jimmy Bonneau and Greg Stewart from Cincinnati to Hamilton.

The Cyclones are the ECHL affiliate of the Canadiens and the Bulldogs.

Aubin, Bonneau, Desjardins, Gleed and Stewart are not on Hamilton’s Clear Day roster, but are all on the team’s list of players in residence. A player in residence can be used in the Calder Cup Playoffs if three members of the team’s Clear Day roster are injured, recalled or suspended.
