Hendricks Returns To Florida From Lowell

ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades announced that All-Star rookie Matt Hendricks has been returned to the team from Lowell of the American Hockey League. Florida is the ECHL affiliate of Lowell of the AHL and Carolina of the National Hockey League.

Selected in the fifth round (131st overall) by Nashville in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft and under contract to Lowell, Hendricks scored three points (1g-2a) in 15 games with the Lock Monsters.

At the time of his recall to Lowell on February 23, Hendricks, who was voted as a starter for the American Conference in the 2005 ECHL All-Star Game, led ECHL rookies and was 13th overall in the ECHL with 47 points and was tied for the rookie lead with 23 goals.
