Hershey Assigns Six Players To Stingrays

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. – The South Carolina Stingrays announced that the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League have assigned defensemen Aaron Power and J.F. David, left wing Ty Morris, center Jeff Legue, right wing Cam McCaffrey, and forward David Spina.

The Stingrays are the ECHL affiliate of the Bears and the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League.

The 23-year-old David, who had five assists in 11 games with Trenton as a rookie in 2002-03, had 41 points (9g-32a) and 126 penalty minutes in 78 regular season games and eight points (2g-6a) in 11 playoff games with Danbury of the United Hockey League in 2004-05.

In his first professional season in 2004-05, the 22-year-old McCaffrey had three points (2g-1a) and 45 penalty minutes in 30 regular season games and also played in all four Kelly Cup Playoff games for the Stingrays while also registering 36 penalty minutes in 19 games with Portland of the AHL.
