Heska Reassigned From Salmon Kings To Manitoba

VICTORIA, British Columbia – The Victoria Salmon Kings announced that the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League have reassigned rookie defenseman Shaun Heshka to the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League.

The Salmon Kings are the ECHL affiliate of the Canucks of the NHL and the Moose of the AHL.

In his first professional season and under NHL contract to Vancouver, the 21-year-old has played in two games for Victoria and recorded his first professional point with an assist in the Salmon Kings 5-4 win at Las Vegas on Saturday.

He has played two games for Manitoba, but has not recorded any points or penalty minutes.
