Hood returning to Eagles


LOVELAND, Colo. - The
Colorado Eagles announced today that they have re-signed Dylan Hood for the 2013-14 season, his second as a professional.

Hood, a 5-foot-9-inch, 190-pound forward, recorded 13 goals and 12 assists in 48 games with the Eagles last season. In addition, Hood also went on to capture the fastest skater award during the 2013 ECHL All-Star Skills Competition at the Budweiser Events Center in January, recording a time of 13.45 seconds.

Hood spent the 2011-12 season with the University of Calgary Dinos, posting 16 points (6g-10a) in 27 games. Prior to that, he split five seasons in the Western Hockey League between the Kelowna Rockets and Moose Jaw Warriors, recording 186 points (83g-103a) and 205 penalty minutes in 315 games.
