Houle Reassigned From Nailers To Philadelphia

WHEELING, W.Va. – The Wheeling Nailers announced that the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League have reassigned goaltender Martin Houle to the Philadelphia Phantoms of the American Hockey League.

The Nailers are the ECHL affiliate of the Flyers and the Pittsburgh Penguins of the NHL and the Phantoms and the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the AHL.

Selected in the eighth round (232nd overall) by Philadelphia in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft and under NHL contract to the Flyers, the 22 year old is 2-1-1 with a goals-against average of 2.94 and a save percentage of .911 in four games with the Nailers.
