Houston Assigns Peters To Pensacola

PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Brabham Cup Champion Pensacola Ice Pilots announced that they have been assigned defenseman Colin Peters by the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League.

Signed as a free agent by Houston in September, the 6-foot-3 and 225-pound Peters played five games with Portland of the AHL, one game with Chicago of the AHL and one game with Manchester of the AHL while also scoring six points (1g-5a) in 72 games with Quad City of the United Hockey League in his first professional season in 2004-05.

The 23-year-old played at St. Cloud State from 2000-04 where he had 21 points (6g-15a) in 143 career games.
