Ice Dogs Beat Las Vegas 3-2 In Shootout

LONG BEACH, Calif. – Ash Goldie scored the decisive goal in the shootout as the Long Beach Ice Dogs beat the Las Vegas Wranglers 3-2 in a preseason game at Glacier Garden Arena on Friday.

The two teams will meet again on Sunday at 5:05 p.m. at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.

Long Beach led 1-0 after the first period on a goal at 18:34 of the first period by Jason Sessa.

Las Vegas tied the game 1-1 at 8:12 of the second period on a goal by Thomas Bellemare, assisted by Adam Huxley, and took a 2-1 lead with 15 seconds remaining in the period on a goal by Shawn Limpright.

The Ice Dogs tied the game just 39 seconds into the third period on a goal by defenseman Chris Busby.
