Ice Pilots Acquire Robson,
Turon Recalled From Pensacola To Marlies

PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Pensacola Ice Pilots announced that they have acquired rookie left wing Blake Robson from the Long Beach Ice Dogs in exchange for future considerations and that defenseman David Turon has been recalled to the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League.

Selected in the fourth round (108th overall) by the Atlanta Thrashers in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, the 23-year-old Robson has five points (2g-3a) and 26 penalty minutes in 27 games with Long Beach and one assist and four penalty minutes in six games with Phoenix.

The Ice Pilots are the ECHL affiliate of the Marlies of the AHL and the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League.

Selected in the fourth round (122nd overall) by the Maple Leafs in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft and under contract to Toronto of the NHL, the 22-year-old Turon has 11 points (3g-8a) and 32 penalty minutes in 38 games with Pensacola and has one assist and 10 penalty minutes in nine games with the Marlies.
