Ice Pilots’ Ford Called Up To St. John’s

PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Pensacola Ice Pilots announced that All-Star goaltender Todd Ford has been recalled to St. John’s of the American Hockey League. Pensacola is the ECHL affiliate of St. John’s of the AHL and Toronto of the National Hockey League.

Under contract to Toronto of the National Hockey League and in his first professional season, Ford was named the CCM Vector ECHL Rookie of the Month for December with a record of 5-0-0 and a goals-against average of 1.58 and a save percentage of .954.

In 17 games with Pensacola, Ford is 12-2-1 and ranks second in the league with a goals-against average of 2.05 and is third with a save percentage of .936.
