Ice Pilots Hire Chavis
As Athletic Trainer

PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Brabham Cup Champion Pensacola Ice Pilots announced that they have hired Brad Chavis as the team’s new head athletic trainer.

Chavis replaces Jason Serbus, who was hired as an assistant medical trainer by the Stanley Cup Champion Tampa Bay Lightning.

The 24-year-old Chavis, who is affiliated with NovaCare Rehabilitation Center, was an assistant athletic trainer for the Ice Pilots in 2004-05.

Chavis, who is a graduate of Pensacola High School and the University of West Florida, previously worked as head equipment manager for the Pensacola Barracudas of arenafootball2.
