Ice Pilots Name Clark Interim Head Coach
Dupont Named Director Of Player Personnel

PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Pensacola Ice Pilots announced that George Dupont has been named director of player personnel and that assistant coach Joe Clark (pictured) has been promoted to interim head coach.

Named assistant coach in Pensacola on Aug. 7, 2006, Clark was a head coach in the Norwegian National League for five years and also spent five years as a head coach in the Danish National League. He was head coach and director of hockey operations for Odessa when it began as an expansion team in 1997 as a member of the Western Professional Hockey League and now the Central Hockey League, earning Organization of the Year in 1998 and 1999.

Hired as an assistant coach on Dec. 10, 2005 and named interim head coach on Jan. 10, 2006, Dupont was named head coach and signed a two-year contract with the Ice Pilots on Mar. 9, 2006.
