Ice Pilots Receive Rooneem From Houston,
Turon Recalled To St. John’s

PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Pensacola Ice Pilots announced that forward Mark Rooneem has been assigned to the team by Houston of the American Hockey League and that defenseman David Turon has been recalled to St. John’s of the American Hockey League.

  Selected in the fourth round (115th overall) by Los Angeles in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, the 6-2 and 191-pound Rooneem scored 27 points (17g-10a) in 57 games with Louisiana and also appeared in one game with Houston.

  Selected in the fourth round (122nd overall) by Toronto in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, Turon has 12 points (3g-9a) in 50 games with Pensacola and has also played one game with St. John’s.
