Ice Pilots Sign Aldoff

PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Brabham Cup Champion Pensacola Ice Pilots announced that they have signed defenseman Rod Aldoff.

The 5-foot-11 and 205-pound Aldoff scored 26 points (6g-20a) in 67 regular season games and had five points (1g-4a) in five games while helping Rockford reach the semifinals of the United Hockey League playoffs.

The 34-year-old began his professional career in the ECHL with Tallahassee in 1995-96 scoring 57 points (13g-44a) in 70 regular season games and five points (1g-4a) in 12 playoff games. In four ECHL seasons with Tallahassee, Pee Dee and Greensboro, he has 165 points (46g-119a) and 283 penalty minutes in 264 regular season games and 21 points (7g-14a) in 41 playoff games.
