Ice Pilots Sign Ben-Amor

PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Brabham Cup Champion Pensacola Ice Pilots announced that they have signed right wing Semir Ben-Amor.

The Ice Pilots are the ECHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League.

In 2004-05 in the United Hockey League, the 6-foot-2 and 210-pound Ben-Amor had 14 points (6g-8a) and 123 penalty minutes in 44 games with Danbury and nine points (3g-6a) and 21 penalty minutes in 12 games with Richmond.

The 23-year-old began his professional career with Louisiana in the ECHL in 2002-03, finishing with 16 points (3g-13a) and 116 penalty minutes in 61 regular season games and two points (1g-1a) and six penalty minutes in six Kelly Cup Playoff games.
