Idaho Signs Rookie Rouleau
Dallas Reassigns Gagnon To Idaho

BOISE, Idaho – The Idaho Steelheads announced that they have signed rookie center Peter Rouleau and that the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League have reassigned rookie center Aaron Gagnon from the Iowa Stars of the American Hockey League to Idaho.

It was also announced that ECHL All-Star forward Greg Rallo has been loaned to the Manitoba Moose of the AHL.

The defending Kelly Cup Champions are the ECHL affiliate of Dallas of the NHL and Iowa of the AHL.

Selected in the eighth round (240th overall) by Phoenix in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft and under NHL contract to Dallas, the 20-year-old Gagnon has 15 points (6g-9a) and two penalty minutes in 15 games for Idaho and one assist and eight penalty minutes in 25 games with Iowa.

The 24-year-old Rouleau has played the last three years at Michigan Tech University where he had 61 points (19g-42a) and 79 penalty minutes in 95 games from 2005-08.
