Iles allowed two goals or less in seven of his 12 appearances and made at least 25 saves 10 times in February. He posted a 31-save shutout in a 2-0 win against Evansville on Feb. 13 and stopped 27 shots in a 3-0 victory over Tulsa on Feb. 26. He ended the month with a 4-0-1 record over his final five games.
A native of Ithaca, N.Y, Iles has appeared in 30 games this season with Cincinnati, Atlanta and Brampton posting an overall record of 14-8-2 with two shutouts, a 2.64 goals-against average and a save percentage of .907.
Iles has seen action in 64 career ECHL games with Cincinnati, Atlanta, Brampton, Florida and Alaska with an overall record of 34-18-4 with four shutouts, a 2.80 goals-against average and a save percentage of .901.
Prior to turning pro, he played four seasons at Cornell University where he went 58-42-17 with nine shutouts, a 2.26 goals-against-average and a .917 save percentage. He made 80 consecutive starts while with the Big Red, the fifth-longest streak in NCAA Division I history.
