Inferno Acquires Gale From Alaska
Anaheim Reassigns Hurme To Portland

COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Columbia Inferno announced that they have acquired rookie right wing Ryan Gale from the Alaska Aces in exchange for financial considerations.

In his first professional season, the 24-year-old Gale has six points (4g-2a) and 14 penalty minutes in 26 games with Alaska after beginning the season with Toledo where he had three assists and 19 penalty minutes in 15 games.

The Inferno also announced that the Anaheim Mighty Ducks have reassigned goaltender Jani Hurme from Columbia to the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League. Anaheim acquired Hurme from the Atlanta Thrashers on Wednesday in exchange for center Joel Stepp.
