Iowa Reassigns Bittner To Steelheads

BOISE, Idaho – The Idaho Steelheads announced that the Iowa Stars of the American Hockey League have reassigned center J.B. Bittner to Idaho and that he is scheduled to be in the lineup on Wednesday when the Steelheads host Victoria.

Idaho is the ECHL affiliate of Iowa of the AHL and the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League.

In his second full professional season, the 24-year-old was acquired by Iowa in a Jan. 2 trade with Portland. He has five points (3g-2a) and 12 penalty minutes in five games with Idaho and 30 points (11g-19a) and 26 penalty minutes in 30 games with Augusta and has played in five games with Iowa and two games with Portland of the AHL.
