PRINCETON, N.J. – Jackson’s Adam Hauser is the East Coast Hockey League Goalie of the Week for March 3-9.
Hauser previously won the honor for the week of December 30-January 5.
The 22-year-old Hauser was 3-0 with a shutout, a 1.33 goals against average and a .961 save percentage in three starts. Hauser helped Jackson clinch its third consecutive Kelly Cup Playoffs berth and improve to 9-6-4 on its 20-game road trip, a trip that began January 17 and concludes Thursday at Mississippi.
The 6-2 and 194-pound Hauser made 27 saves in a 4-2 win at Pensacola on Tuesday, and he moved into a tie for the league lead with his fourth shutout of the season, making 36 saves in a 2-0 win at Baton Rouge on Friday. He ended the week making 36 saves in a 4-2 win at Louisiana.
