Jakaitis went 2-0-0 with one shutout, a 1.00 goals-against average and a save percentage of .966 in two appearances last week.

The 31-year-old stopped all 17 shots he faced in a 5-0 win at Elmira on Friday and made 40 saves in a 4-2 victory at Reading on Saturday.

A native of Rochester, Minn., Jakaitis is 5-1-1 with two shutouts in seven appearances this season and is tied for fifth in the league with a 2.26 goals-against average and is tied for ninth with a .916 save percentage.

Jakaitis has appeared in 173 career ECHL games with Columbia, Charlotte, Gwinnett and South Carolina posting an overall record of 89-54-23 with 18 shutouts, which is tied for third all-time in league history, a 2.47 goals-against average and a save percentage of .921.
