Jean scored two goals and added seven assists for nine points in three games last week.
The 25-year-old recorded four points (2g-2a) in an 8-5 win against Utah on Wednesday, had three assists in a 6-3 victory over Allen on Friday and tallied a pair of assists in a 3-2 shootout loss to Allen on Saturday.
A native of Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., Jean has 11 points (3g-8a) in 10 games with the Steelheads this season. He began the season with Asploven HC in Sweden where he had seven points (2g-5a) in 19 games.
Jean has 65 points (22g-43a) in 84 career ECHL games with Idaho and Greenville and he has added 29 points (11g-18a) in 126 career American Hockey League games with Connecticut, Hartford, Lake Erie and Charlotte.
On behalf of Kyle Jean, a case of pucks will be donated to an Idaho youth hockey organization by Sher-Wood Hockey, the exclusive puck supplier of the ECHL. Since beginning its sponsorship of the award in 2000-01, Sher-Wood Hockey has donated more than 33,000 pucks to youth hockey organizations in ECHL cities.
