Johnson Returns To Titans From Norfolk

TRENTON, N.J. – The Trenton Titans announced that forward Gregg Johnson has returned to the team after being released from his professional tryout agreement with the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League.

The Titans are the ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils and the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League and the Lowell Devils and the Philadelphia Phantoms of the AHL.

The 24-year-old had three goals and five points in the first four games and was Trenton’s leading scorer on Oct. 28 when he was loaned to Norfolk where he played one game.

Selected in the eighth round (256th overall) by the Ottawa Senators in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, the 6-foot and 185-pound Johnson had 29 points (7g-22a) and 45 penalty minutes in 79 games with Binghamton of the AHL in 2005-06.
