One sign that you’ve made it is getting a sandwich named for you.
Well, Burford’s Randy Rowe has made it in Johnstown, Pa., as a member of the ECHL’s Chiefs.
Em’s Subs there has created the Randy Rowe‘s Beef, which consists of roast beef, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, American cheese, crushed red pepper and horseradish sauce.
“I think that’s one of the advantages of playing in a small town,” Rowe, 27, said of the culinary honour.
“It’s a small, little town and you get what you put into it. If you come here and don’t do anything, you’re not going to like it. If you get involved with the community, it’s great.
“That’s what I like about it. It reminds me of home.”
