K-Wings agree to terms with Mallet

Kalamazoo, Mich.— The Kalamazoo Wings have agreed to terms with Alex Mallet for the upcoming season, the team announced.

He finished last season with the Stockton Thunder after being part of a trade between Vancouver and the New York Islanders.

A second-round selection(57th overall) by the Vancouver Canucks in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, Mallet has tallied 62 points (23g-39a) and 117 penalty minutes in 98 career ECHL games with Kalamazoo and Stockton.

Prior to turning pro, Mallet recorded 120 points (54g-66a) in 203 career QMJHL games with Rouyn-Noranda and Rimouski.
