Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the National Hockey League’s New York Islanders and American Hockey League’s Bridgeport Sound Tigers, announce the signing of forward Brady Leisenring. Per team policy, the terms of the contract will be undisclosed.
A five-year pro, Leisenring joins the K-Wings after starting the season with the Hanover Indians (Germany) of the 2.GBUN and the Odessa Jackalopes of the Central Hockey League.
Prior to Odessa, Leisenring has spent the last two years playing in Germany, scoring 90 points (40g-50a) in 98 games. Prior to his time overseas, Leisenring split time in the American Hockey League with the Worcester Sharks/Cleveland Barons and in the ECHL with the Fresno Falcons.
Prior turning pro, the native to Stowe, Vermont was a standout at the University of Vermont. As a member of the Catamounts, Leisenring broke John LeClair’s all-time record of most points by a Vermont born player with 117.
