Keefe Recalled From Victoria To Manitoba

VICTORIA, British Columbia – The Victoria Salmon Kings announced that the Manitoba Moose have recalled forward Adam Keefe to the American Hockey League.

The Salmon Kings are the ECHL affiliate of the Moose of the AHL and the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League.

The 22-year-old was assigned to Victoria on Nov. 24 and had two penalty minutes in two games. He has not played in a game for Manitoba after suffering an injury in training camp.

In his rookie year in 2005-06, the 5-foot-10 and 195-pound Keefe had five points (3g-2a) and led Manitoba with 158 penalty minutes while also playing in the ECHL with Toledo where he had 21 points ( 10g-11a) and 174 penalty minutes in 28 regular season games and two goals and 50 penalty minutes in 11 games in the Kelly Cup Playoffs.
