Kelly Returns To Victoria From Manitoba
Vancouver Reassigns Rookie Rahimi To Salmon Kings

VICTORIA, British Columbia – The Victoria Salmon Kings announced that the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League have reassigned rookie defenseman Daniel Rahimi from the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League to Victoria, and that Manitoba has reassigned defenseman Matt Kelly to the Salmon Kings.

Victoria is the ECHL affiliate of Vancouver of the NHL and Manitoba of the AHL.

Selected in the third round (82nd overall) by Vancouver in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft and under NHL contract to the Canucks, the 20-year-old Rahimi played one game for Victoria before being reassigned to Manitoba where he had four penalty minutes in eight games for the Moose.
