Kelman Called Up From Gladiators To Hershey

DULUTH, Ga. – The Gwinnett Gladiators announced that center Scott Kelman has been called up to the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League and that the Gladiators have signed defenseman Brad Fraser.

Selected in the first round (15th overall) by the Phoenix Coyotes in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, the 24-year-old Kelman had one shot in Hershey’s 1-0 win at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Feb. 10. He has 42 points (13g-29a) and 86 penalty minutes in 39 games with Gwinnett and two assists and two penalty minutes in three games with Manitoba of the AHL.
