Kowalski Returns To Everblades From Lowell

ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades announced that goaltender Craig Kowalski has been reassigned to the team by the Lowell Lock Monsters of the American Hockey League and that he will be in uniform for Friday’s preseason game against Toledo.

The Everblades are the ECHL affiliate of the Lock Monsters of the AHL and the Carolina Hurricanes and the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League.

Selected in the eighth round (235th overall) by Carolina in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, the 24-year-old Kowalski was 3-0 with a goals-against average of 3.27 and a save percentage of .875 in the Kelly Cup Playoffs after going 13-6-6 with a goals-against average of 2.87 and a save percentage of .906 in the regular season.
