Krouse Named Equipment Manager
For Iowa Stars

PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Brabham Cup Champion Pensacola Ice Pilots announced that equipment manager John Krouse has accepted the equipment manager position with the Iowa Stars of the American Hockey League.

The 29-year-old Krouse was selected by his peers as ECHL Equipment Manager of the Year in 2003-04 and was also chosen to work the 2005 ECHL All-Star Game.

He was head equipment manager for the Ice Pilots for six seasons after working three seasons with Peoria of the ECHL.

Born and raised in Rome, N.Y., Krouse began as an assistant equipment manager for his brother Richard with Utica in the Colonial Hockey League and at the age of 19 he became head equipment manager for Winston-Salem in the Southern Hockey League.
