Lake Erie Assigns Rookie Roche To Chiefs

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – The Johnstown Chiefs announced that the Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League have recalled rookie forward Rob Drummond and have assigned rookie forward Kenny Roche to Johnstown.

The Chiefs are the ECHL affiliate of Lake Erie and Providence of the AHL and the Colorado Avalanche and the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League.

Selected in the third round (75th overall) by the New York Rangers in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, the 23-year-old Roche has four points (1g-3a) and 14 penalty minutes in 11 games with Lake Erie.
