The 24 year old scored five goals and added three assists last week as the Wranglers went 3-0-0 to improve their record to 13-4-2 for 28 points and a first-place tie in the Pacific Division.
Mosienko opened the week with two goals in a 7-3 win on Wednesday against Ontario. He had two goals and an assist in a 4-1 win on Friday against Idaho and a goal and two assists in Las Vegas’ 6-3 win against Idaho on Saturday. Mosienko leads Las Vegas this season with 17 points (6g- 11a) in 14 games.
A native of West St. Paul, Manitoba, Mosienko returned to Las Vegas this season after playing last season with Neurmberg of the DEL where he registered five goals and 14 assists in 56 games. He has 223 points (77g-146a) in 271 regular-season games with Greenville and Las Vegas and 39 points (17g-22a) in 49 Kelly Cup Playoff games. Mosienko has also played in 35 AHL games with Bridgeport, Manchester, Rockford and San Antonio where he has 18 points (7g-11a).
On behalf of Tyler Mosienko a case of pucks will be donated to a Las Vegas youth hockey organization by Sher-Wood Hockey, the exclusive puck supplier of the ECHL. Since beginning its sponsorship of the award in 2000-01, Sher-Wood Hockey has donated more than 23,000 pucks to youth hockey organizations in ECHL cities.
