Las Vegas Signs Pair From Minnesota-Duluth

LAS VEGAS – The Las Vegas Wranglers announced that the team has signed defenseman Tim Hambly and left wing Marco Peluso. Both from the University of Minnesota-Duluth, Hambly and Peluso are scheduled to make their professional debut on Friday against Fresno.

The 21-year-old Hambly led UMD defensemen with five goals, 15 assists and 20 points in 34 games. In four seasons, Hambly scored 60 points (13g-47a) in 141 games and had a plus-minus rating of +33 in 2003-04.

The 24-year-old Peluso tied for the UMD team lead with 19 goals and ranked third in scoring with 38 points in 35 games. In three seasons, Peluso scored 88 points (37g-51a) in 114 games.
