Leading Scorer Johnson Returns To Lynx

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta Lynx announced that center Jamie Johnson has returned to the team from the Iowa Stars of the American Hockey League.

The 23-year-old attended training camp with the Dallas Stars before being assigned to the Iowa Stars where he played in three games and scored six points (1g-5a), including three assists on Friday against Peoria.

The 23-year-old Johnson finished second behind former NHL Rookie of the Year Scott Gomez in the ECHL scoring race in 2004-05 leading Augusta with 80 points (22g-58a) in his second professional season.
