League Passes Million Mark

The ECHL has surpassed one million in attendance for the 14th consecutive season. The league has welcomed 1,008,674 fans in 253 games, the fastest the league has reached one million since 2000-01 when it achieved the milestone in 245 games, and is averaging 3,987 per game which is up seven percent from last season. Victoria had a standing-room-only crowd of 2,750 for its home opener against Bakersfield on Sunday, the 15th sellout crowd of the season for the league.
