Lockhart named Voice of the Bulls

SAN FRANCISCO – The San Francisco Bulls announced that Jason Lockhart has been named the team’s Director of Media Relations and Broadcasting. Lockhart, 29, will join the Bulls later this month.

“Jason’s passion, dedication and love for hockey are going to be a huge asset for our team,” said Pat Curcio, Bulls President and Head Coach.  “We are excited to have him on board and are sure the fans will love him too.”

"I’m extremely excited to hit the ground running with the Bulls," said Lockhart. "Working with a new team from the ground up is a great opportunity that I couldn’t pass up. I look forward to working side by side with Pat and the rest of the Bulls staff. Thank you to the Syracuse Crunch organization for a wonderful two years."

Lockhart joins the Bulls after serving the last two seasons as the play-by-play broadcaster for the American Hockey League’s Syracuse Crunch. Prior to that, he was the Manager of Media and Community Relations with the Bakersfield Condors of the ECHL.

The New York City native began his professional career working for three years as the Website/Publications Coordinator of the New York Islanders. Lockhart began working in the field as an intern for ice hockey broadcasting legend Stan "The Maven" Fischler.

For four years, Lockhart served as play-by-play broadcaster for the men’s ice hockey team at Middlebury College, which twice earned the NCAA Division III national title.
