Los Angeles Reassigns Quick, Taylor

READING, Pa. – The Reading Royals announced that the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League have reassigned rookie goaltender Jonathan Quick to the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, and that the Kings have reassigned goaltender Danny Taylor from Manchester to Reading.

The Royals are the ECHL affiliate of the Kings of the NHL and the Monarchs of the AHL.

The 21-year-old Quick is 7-5-1 with a goals-against average of 2.46 and a save percentage of .907 in 13 games. He became the second goaltender in ECHL history to record his first win, his first shutout and score his first goal in the same game, a 3-0 win at Pensacola on Oct. 24.
