Lynx Agree To Terms With King

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta Lynx announced that they have agreed to terms with left wing Colt King.

Selected in the fourth round (130th overall) by the Colorado Avalanche in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, the 22-year-old was acquired in a trade with the Reading Royals and had 21 points (10g-11a), including 18 points (7g-11a) in the last 28 games of the season, and 160 penalty minutes in 67 games with the Lynx in 2004-05.

The 6-foot-2 and 220-pound King played five seasons in the Ontario Hockey League from 1999-2004 with Guelph, North Bay, Saginaw, Oshawa, Sault-Ste Marie and Sarnia registering 168 points (80g-88a) and 589 penalty minutes in 300 regular season games and nine points (6g-3a) and 69 penalty minutes in 31 playoff games.
