Lynx Agree To Terms With Peterson, Wright

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta Lynx announced that they have agreed to terms with center Doug Wright (pictured) and defenseman Treavor Peterson.

The 24-year-old Wright had 12 points (7g-5a) in 37 games with Las Vegas and 10 points (5g-5a) in 22 games with Augusta in 2004-05.

The 27-year-old Peterson had career highs with six assists, seven points and 68 penalty minutes in 71 games with the Lynx in 2004-05. In his first two professional seasons, both with Augusta, the 6-4 and 200-pound Peterson has missed only two games and has 13 points (2g-11a) and 132 penalty minutes in 142 games.

In his first professional season in 2003-04, the 6-2 and 195-pound Wright appeared in all 72 games for Las Vegas and had 38 points (20g-18a) and 104 penalty minutes while also registering an assist in one game with Chicago of the American Hockey League.
