Lynx, Brodeur Agree To Terms

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta Lynx announced that they have agreed to terms with goaltender Mike Brodeur, who has played in the ECHL in each of his first four professional seasons.

The Lynx are the ECHL affiliate of the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League and the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League.

During the 2007-08 season Brodeur had a 10-day stretch where he played three games in the ECHL with Pensacola in three different cities, was with Rockford in the AHL for one game and suited up for one game with the Chicago Blackhawks as the backup to Patrick Lalime, who played in the ECHL as a rookie in 1994-95.

Selected by Chicago in the seventh round (211th overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, the 25 year old is 46-34-8 with six shutouts, a goals-against average of 2.66 and a save percentage of .923 in 92 regular season ECHL games with Augusta, Greenville, Pensacola and Toledo.
